Ergonomics isthe study of how a workplace and the equipment used there can best be designed for comfort, efficiency, safety, and productivity. The goal of the Ergonomic Policy 107-06-030 is to reduce or eliminate ergonomic related work area problems and injuries. The Ergonomic Program designates an ergonomic coordinator in each division and provides training for all DAS staff through these coordinators and the DAS Safety office.
